of my favorite examples of a big company “keeping it human” is the great
exchange that happened between an online service rep for NetFlix and a
customer (posted
on reddit). This is why companies should hire people with senses of
humor! Can I get an AMEN up in here?! Humor is one of the best ways to
connect with an audience, and leave your customer with a great experience.
Stop
using buzzwords!
You all know how I feel about jargon. Ugh! It doesn’t serve you or your
audience. What buzzword do you hate the most? I hate ‘paradigm-shift’ more
than any other buzzword….but perhaps that’s far too 2012, as it didn’t make
this Inc.com silly buzzword list. And many of these words are used by
areas other than marketing.
