KMVT 15 is thrilled to announce many upcoming Events and Workshops

Each month we are working to keep you informed of the many great things happening at KMVT 15, so hear goes a great list of upcoming events!

 

KMVT 15 is launching its 2nd phase of its Go Digital! Capital Campaign, to jump start it you can join us any day or night November 11-17th at Morocco’s in Mountain View, 10% of all daily proceeds for the week will go back to KMVT 15.  So stop by and enjoy an amazing meal.

Upcoming Workshops

 

11/14 – Field Equipment - The field equipment workshop focuses on the use of our rentable cameras, microphones and lights. Most of the workshop focuses on the use of our Sony NX5u camcorders. These are High definition prosumer grade cameras that record onto SD cards. We will also discuss the use of microphone and lights when outside a studio environment.

11/21 – Field Production- Our Field Production workshop focuses on the producer’s role when shooting on location. Shooting on location has a number of unpredictability’s that can easily trip up the unprepared. Permits and legal hazards, Lighting and sound, Parking and transportation are all important factors to consider when planning a shoot at a location you don't control.

12/5 – Photography - Our photography workshop brings a hands on approach to learning your camera. We cover basic exposure and composition before getting into hands on learning experience. Every month we change up the subject from sports photography to light painting, macro to landscape and much more. Our December class will cover Holiday portraiture. Wrangling the family to get at least one good photo.
