Facebook is collaborating with Shutterstock, an photo and illustration marketplace, to give small businesses access to millions of images to integrate into Facebook ads, the Menlo Park-based company wrote in a blog post today.
Starting next week, marketers can use Shutterstock's library of commercially licensed pictures at no additional cost in all Facebook ad formats. The images will be fully searchable and accessible through Facebook's ad creation tool.
Facebook also rolled out a new media uploader intended to help businesses create multiple ads simultaneously for a single campaign.
The social network also introduced updates to its Android and iOS Pages Manager apps, allowing admins to upload multiple images for a post, edit existing Page administrators and add new administrators to Pages they manage from their mobile phone.
