7 worries for homebuyers

Home Buyer Worries - The 7 Things that Worry Home Buyers Most

A recent survey conducted by Trulia and Harris Interactive questioned more than 2000 US home buyers in June about what worried them the most about the Home Buying and Selling Process.
Worried Home Buyer
Here's what they found:
Mortgage interest rates rising before I buy - 41%
Not finding a home for sale that I like - 36%
Not qualifying for a mortgage - 30%
Competing with other buyers - 27%
Home prices falling after I buy - 25%
Home prices rising before I buy - 37%
Deciding on a home too quickly - 19%
In hotter markets where homes are moving fast, the survey found that these 7 Home Buyer worries instensify. Read the full study from Trulia.

These are all valid worries but a good Realtor can help alleviate the stress and uncertainty behind these. If you're buying in El Dorado Hills or the surrounding areas, I'd love to help!

Nice little list. It is interesting that they worried most about rising interest rates. I would've thought prices would've topped the list.

Worry is exhaustive, time to slow this operation down to one where the buyer is not pressured, up against it for time makes the best buying decisions to be made. Videos for one after another property help save time, reduce worry and more homes, houses are toured,. Property tires kicked and considered. On the buyers time, not agent, seller and any time of day or night, weather.

DeeDee, Thanks for sharing these survey results. It's especially helpful for buyer agents to know these concerns that buyers may have. Then those concerns likely can be addressed more easily. Andrew

I missed that study so thank you for sharing it.
I suspect these are the concerns of just about all buyers at some level. There is so much to be concerned about these days, even if you are experienced. OUr job is to help alleviate concerns through education, guidance, information, answering questions and anticipating those fears.

I would think that rising interest rates and qualifying for a mortgage would trump all. Interesting data and thanks for sharing.

Thanks, DeeDee (dear sister - as it is proninced in Hindi and Actually, yesterday was 'Sister's Day' - unique Indian Festival - I should write about it.)
I'd say, first two are the biggest worries now-a-days for the buyers.

DeeDee, my buyers are bumming about mortgage rates going up...then having troubles finding that perfect house...I tell them think outside of the box, maybe a little renovation to make it the perfect home.
