Best Credit Monitoring Company        Please keep in mind that this article is based solely upon the writers opinion, my past experiences with other Credit Monitoring Services and I am not being compensated or otherwise in ANY form!      But the best Credit Monitoring Service that I’ve found recently is CreditKarma.com. You’ve probably seen some of their ads recently on TV.        Until this time Credit Monitoring Service Companies have primarily generated their revenue upon clients monthly fees. Your payment of between $14 and $25 per month sustains them.      It was only time before a company came along that generated their primary revenue through advertising.  CreditKarma.com is that company. By the way this article and subsequent “endorsement” is independent and written without financial gain by myself or company.      Although the site is rich in advertising this is a benefit to you the consumer. It’s not as if you have to sign up or buy any advertised products or services. In fact I recommend that you don’t! So here’s the bottom line:   Upsides: 1.     It’s completely Free. 2.     No Credit Card required!  3.     There is relevant advice that can be very helpful to consumers. 4.     There is no time limit on your access to the site. (at least for the time being)                   Downsides: 1.     They only offer you your TranUnion report score. 2.     This score is not representative of your other two scores and even your TU score will most likely be much higher than the score when you apply for credit with a bank, credit card company, auto dealer etc.. 3.     The “advice” you do receive is obviously going to be directed at their sponsors!     The above are Not all inclusive.
