Todd Sickafoose and Tiny Resistors
Ben Goldberg (clarinets), Matthew Szemela (violin), Erik Deutsch (piano & keyboards), Rob Reich (accordion & guitar), Allison Miller (drums & percussion) &Todd Sickafoose (acoustic bass)
Bassist/composer Todd Sickafoose's band is a marvel of musical cross-breeding, pairing indie rock muscle and whimsy with the extended forms, timbres, and sophistication of a jazz orchestra. "Tiny Resistors" (Cryptogramophone) has been called "thoroughly original, endlessly creative...one of the year's most compelling listens" (JazzTimes) and "stunningly brilliant...a modern jazz masterpiece" (Bassplayer).

2011 Buil & Giné Nosis Verdejo
Made of 100% Verdejo grapes manually harvested from "Fuente la Miel", a 35 years old Verdejo vineyard near the town of La Seca, in the Valladolid province, where vines are planted on terraces overlooking the Duero River.
On the palate, it is clean, juicy, fresh and vibrant with white core fruit and citrus flavors expanding toward a characteristic grassy, slightly bitter, limey finish, enhanced by a good amount of minerality which adds elegance and personality.

2011 Buil & Giné Nosis Verdejo
$11 a glass / $33 a bottle
