Hello well connected colleagues and friends!
I've tried to always assist with our communities' fundraisers, volunteered my time to those endeavors that are important to my friends, colleagues and family, and it is in this spirit that I am reaching out to you.
Now it's my turn to ask something of you.
I've been volunteering my time with the San Francisco 49er Academy and now Co-Chairing our inaugural event, soon to be annual event in the Bay Area, with all the proceeds going to the Academy.
I would like to ask you if your business or if you know of any business that would like to be a sponsor or provide an in kind donation (gift certificates/product for the VIP swag bags- currently our VIP bags have a value of $800 - wahooo!) for our fabulous event benefiting the San Francisco 49ers Academy?
We are selling tickets fast, but now have to concentrate on the sponsor part - as it all goes to the Academy. Looking to donate $250,000 if possible!
We are also looking for Culinary Partners / Chefs / Restaurants that would like to donate their time and nibbles and bites at the event, who will of course be included in all our advertising and media (which is extensive) coverage.
I've attached our sponsor deck with all the info and levels and my letter (below) and if you can think of anyone whose company would like to be a part of this; if so, I would be grateful if you would please pass it along and bcc me (though I won't contact them unless they reach out to me, I just want to add them to our "asked" list so no one duplicates it.) And if you cannot help, that's okay too, and if you have a minute to let me know via a quick email! (and I won't bother you again -promise!)

Hello!
I am writing to you as the Co-Chair for the 1st Annual Wine, Women
& Shoes event benefiting the San Francisco 49ers Academy. This unique
celebration will take place at a private estate in Atherton on Thursday,
September 12, 2013. Partnerships with illustrious wineries, local trendsetters
(Wilkes Bashford is our primary clothing partner and will be
creating the fashion show), restaurants and Chefs (Four Seasons Quattro,
Chef Pamela Keith are just a couple of them) and unique local businesses make
this event special! It is loaded with sponsorship and branding
opportunities to fit any budget or business! Our goal is to help
businesses create relationships with our savvy guests while raising funds to
keep kids from East Palo Alto safe on track and in school. The Wine Women &
Shoes attendees will be comprised of 350+ Southbay and Peninsula women
who are typically luxury brand consumers, savvy and well connected!
We developed the attached sponsorship packages to reflect the
needs of several different business models. There are few things that evoke the
perfect combination of glamour and fun as the concept of Wine, Women &
Shoes. From logo exposure on marketing materials to water bottles and
networking, there are limitless ways to optimize partnerships. This event gives
you a unique opportunity to place your business in front of an ideal but hard
to reach demographic: affluent, savvy women.
