A Food Hackathon, billed as the first of its kind, is scheduled for next weekend aimed at food lovers and developers.
The two-day gathering will cook up hardware and software products and services "that positively impact the production, storage, distribution, access, discovery, sharing, consumption, and social impact of food."
Among the many promised mentors, hosts and speakers promised are 500 Startups' Dave McClure, Google's Marc Rasic and Yummly's Brian Witlin and David Feller.
