Storm troopers invaded downtown San Jose on Thursday morning to announce the Tech Museum’s new Star Wars exhibit.
Some 50 onlookers watched as the rebel alliance battled the 501st legion of Stormtroopers outside the Tech Museum. Billy Dee Williams, who played Lando Calrissian in the original films, made an appearance, as well as Obi-Shawn, an Obi-Wan Kenobi impersonator. Mayor Chuck Reed also introduced the exhibit.
Williams told fans his proudest moment was being “the first owner of the Millennium Falcon.”
The exhibit opens Oct. 19 and closes Feb. 23, 2014. Tickets went on sale today.
