I just read the post about buyers who have no loyalty by Kathy Stoltman, and while agree with her point that it's hard to spend a lot of time with some buyers because you know they will dump you in a heartbeat, I think that a lot of realtors have the same bad habits.
My office has been growing at a rapid pace, and the owner has added a mortgage company and title company, both located in our building. I personally think all of the people they have are very professional, and I would expect them to do a great job if I gave them the opportunity but.
- I've used the same mortgage professional for many years, and he's always been able to close every deal on time, without any of the drama that I read about here on a regular basis.
- I have the same situation with my closing company, so all of my closings are on time with very little or no drama. Just the way I like it.
- My home inspector is Michael Thornton, and I've used him forever, so once again little drama, great results.
So back to my point, If you want loyalty from clients, you should provide a higher level of service than expected, and show a little loyalty yourself.
