The craft brew scene is thriving as Silicon Valley Beer Week continues into the weekend with Summer KraftBrew Beer Festival. Local rocker Jonny Manak rides again with new music opening for Odd Numbers and South First Fridays returns to the SoFA District. Aug. 1, 10pm at Fahrenheit Restaurant & Lounge Who knew there was an award for best stripper DJ? Apparently San Francisco DJ Hell Rell has won it three years in a row in SF Weekly. Whether he's DJing for strippers or just us regular folk, his sets tend to include plenty of R&B, hip-hop, house, electro and dubstep, though his heart is in hip-hop. Read More   Styx Thu. Originally from Chicago, Styx is known for blending the style of progressive -rock with hard rock guitar, power ballads, and even elements of American musical theater. Aug. 3, 2pm in Downtown San Jose Silicon Valley Beer Week comes to a close with Summer KraftBrew Fest, an annual favorite of San Jose's beer lovers.
