Hello,
I don't normally make requests like this, but I am in the position to truly
help someone, and I think you may want to join me.
My best friend Jen is 35. She grew up in San Jose, went to Mitty, and is a
great hairstylist. She is an amazing friend that has helped me through
life's greatest challenges. She is the kindest soul I have ever met.
In December, she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She went thru
chemo every 3 weeks until May. They told her the tumors shrank 80%. The
following week they told her the cancer is now in her lymph nodes and
spinal fluid. I guess this happens to 5% of patients. What usually happens
next is the patient quickly loses all senses and dies. She has less than a
few months to live (without a miracle). She remains hopeful.
She and her long term boyfriend Jeff have decided to get married in late
July. My request is simple: would you or someone in your network like to
help make her dream come true? I am looking for donations of catering,
flowers, wedding supplies, or cash to help make her special day and the
days that follow a little better.
