Box Inc., the online file-storage company preparing for an IPO, plans to expand its European presence with new offices in France and Germany.
The Los Altos company will hire about 100 people in sales, marketing and product development in Paris and Munich by the end of the year, CEO Aaron Levie told the New York Times. The offices will help Box "capture other fast-growing markets for cloud-based data storage, including Japan, Singapore, Australia and Brazil."
Levie said the new offices are part of the company's preparations for a 2014 initial public offering, according to the report.
