Box, prepping for IPO, to expand in France and Germany

Box Inc., the online file-storage company preparing
for an IPO, plans to expand its European presence with new offices in France and
Germany.
The Los Altos company will hire about 100 people in sales, marketing and
product development in Paris and Munich by the end of the year, CEO Aaron Levie told the New York Times. The offices will help Box "capture
other fast-growing markets for cloud-based data storage, including Japan,
Singapore, Australia and Brazil."Levie said the new offices are part of the company's preparations for a 2014 initial public offering, according to the report.
