ETA Annual Meeting and Expo runs from April 30 to May 2, 2013, at the

President Obama’s budget
includes a tax credit incentive to generate hiring at small businesses,
reports Businessweek. The proposed credit would be for companies that paid
less than $20 million in wages in 2012, the companies would get a one-time
credit of 10% new workers and raises to current workers.

According to Press of Atlantic
City, the U.S. Small Business Administration announced that as of April,
the SBA has disbursed about $100 million in low interest loans statewide
for victims of Hurricane Sandy. The administration is concerned that
business that qualify for aid are not applying.
