Intelligence analytics startup Palantir Technologies has picked up some talent in an acquisition of voice and email startup Voicegem.
Terms of the deal were not announced but Voicegem announced the deal on a blog over the weekend and said it is closing down its service in mid-March.

Voicegem was a Y Combinator company in the summer of 2012. Its app allows users to send voice messages with an email or Facebook message. It was co-founded by Arda Kara and Alexander Blessing, who developed the technology while studying at Stanford University.

Palo Alto-based Palantir is expected to use the new hires in its New York office to help it use audio to analyze the hoards of data that it analyzes.
