Smartphones have pretty much taken over our world. Most entrepreneurs spend
just as much time, if not more, on their phones than their actual computers.
Thankfully, our phones can be used in a number of ways to improve our businesses
and simplify our busy lives thanks to mobile apps.
If you’re always on the go, try out some of these mobile apps.
1. SignEasy
Signing documents can be surprisingly time-consuming, especially when you
have to print a document, sign it, and rescan it. SignEasy is a super simple
application that allows you to view and sign documents right on your phone!
2. Slice
Have you ever wasted minutes or even hours trying to find a specific online
receipt for a purchase you made? Slice keeps track of online purchases through
your email address.
3. Venmo
Venmo is similar to the PayPal app in the sense that you can send or receive
money to others through your phone. However, Venmo is free! Not only does it
complete transactions more quickly, but there are no fees involved to receive
money.
4. Captio
We are entrepreneurs. Being creative individuals, we tend to have many ideas
and thoughts floating around. Keeping track of all these is the difficult part.
Captio allows you to send yourself an email in literally one touch.
5. Uber
Being stuck somewhere without a ride is not fun. Uber is an app that allows
you to locate private car services and pay for your trip. This app even gives
the driver a geo-targeted location so they can find you in a jiffy!
6. Instapaper
Instapaper is an excellent tool for nearly anyone. How often do you come
across blog posts or articles that you really want to read but you simply don’t
have the time? Rather than losing potentially valuable material, Instapaper will
save the article on your phone or computer.
7. WriteThat.Name
Trying to find the number of someone who you haven’t saved in your contacts
is one of the most frustrating circumstances. WriteThat.Name automatically scans
signatures of email correspondence and saves it on your phone. It even updates
information for you. While WriteThat.Name isn’t technically an app, it functions
similarly to one.
8. Google Drive
Google Drive is an online drive that can store nearly any type of file. You
can even use it to create documents. Google Drive can be accessed anywhere,
whether it’s your phone, a friend’s phone, and on computers. Another huge
benefit is that you can share your documents and allow partners or employees to
edit them.
9. FreshBooks
FreshBooks has long been the premier choice of invoicing software. They have
now created an easy to use mobile app that will allow you to monitor your
account right on your phone.
10. CardMunch
LinkedIn has a mobile app that will help get your business cards organized.
CardMunch is easy to use and will keep your wallet uncluttered. Simply take a
photo of a business card and this app will automatically create a contact on
your phone.
