OUTSTANDING WOMAN OF THE YEAR
Chamber of Commerce Mountain View is proud to announce the 22nd Annual ATHENA Award and the 4th Annual ATHENA Young Professional Award. Created to honor an outstanding Mountain View leader and Chamber member, this award will be presented to a woman and young female professional who has attained and personified the highest level of professional excellence in business and the community.
NOMINEES FOR THE ATHENA AWARD WILL BE EVALUATED ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
- Demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession.
- Provide valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community.
- Actively assist women in realizing their full leadership potential.
NOMINEES FOR THE ATHENA YOUNG PROFESSIONAL AWARD WILL BE EVALUATED ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA
- The individual is an emerging leader who demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession
- The individual provides valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community
- The individual clearly serves as a role model for young women personally and professionally

- Each category will be considered separately and equally.
- The recipient is selected solely on the content of the nomination form submitted. Please be sure to include a detailed summary of accomplishments, civic involvement, leadership positions held, etc.
We encourage the nominator to consider interviewing the nominee to assist in the completeness of the nomination.The Athena Award will be presented at the Chamber of Commerce Mountain View/ YIPEE Big Wig Luncheon on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
