Dotloop gaining traction with Re/Max, Keller Williams agents
3 in 4 KW agents and 1 in 6 Re/Max agents now using company's platform to close deals
By Inman News, Thursday, February 21, 2013.In August, dotloop offered Re/Max broker-owners a 60-day free trial of its broker dashboard, which allows brokers to keep track of transactions their agents are doing in real time.
And since then, dotloop says, close to 16 percent of the franchisor's approximate 90,000 agents have signed up to use the platform and have used it to complete close to 50,000 transactions.
"With dotloop, our agents no longer need to have someone cover their business while they are away from the office, allowing them to complete a deal from any location and device," said Donna Armstrong, broker-owner of Re/Max Metro Atlanta, in a statement.
The transaction feature of Keller Williams Realty's integrated lead management system eEdge, which launched in January 2011 with dotloop baked into the "MyTransactions" portion, has been adopted by 75 percent of the franchisor's approximate 75,000 associates, dotloop reported.
"We've seen significant results in our associates in providing them this extremely easy-to-use, reliable service, eliminating paperwork in their businesses," said Cary Sylvester, executive director of technology at Keller Williams, in a statement.
In January, dotloop invited LendingTree, ClosingCorp and WhiteFence to offer their services to homebuyers and sellers from within the platform. Agents also have the option to add their own service providers.
In October, real estate franchisor Exit Realty Corp. International announced that dotloop would power its new agent-facing, cloud-based business software, Total Office Resource Center (TORC).
