San Jose's Altera Real Estate is now part of Legacy Real Estate & Associates ERA Powered.
With the deal, Legacy, a major East Bay residential real estate brokerage, will gain a significant foothold in Santa Clara County, said Legacy owner Bill Aboumrad in a statement. Altera, which closed $80 million in sales volume in 2012, will bring over co-owners Dennis and Colleen Badagliacco and 20 sales professionals. The office at 1124 Meridian Ave. in San Jose will operate under the Legacy Real Estate & Associates ERA Powered name.
“In addition, joining forces with Dennis and Colleen is also a good move because we share similar philosophies, business models and company cultures," Aboumrad said.
Colleen Badagliacco will be vice president of technology at the San Jose office; Dennis will serve as vice president of business operations.
Fremont-based Legacy Real Estate & Associates ERA Powered has four offices and about 275 sales professionals, who together closed $775 million in deals last year.
