The two will host the Republican governor for a political fundraising dinner at their home in Palo Alto next month, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Zuckerberg met New Jersey Gov. Christie when the tech CEO donated $100 million to Newark public schools in 2010. WSJ says the two have kept in touch since then.

The fundraiser will be Feb. 14, and donations are limited to $3,800 by state law.
Zuckerberg hasn’t been overtly political in his role as Facebook’s head. He was one of many tech executives who chatted with President Barack Obama over a dinner in 2011. And his company’s PAC, which raised $267,000 for the 2012 election, donated to both parties. Zuckerberg personally donated $10,000.
But tech execs hosting fundraising dinners isn’t new. Zuckerberg’s COO, Sheryl Sandberg, hosted a fundraising dinner for President Barack Obama in 2011, as did then-Google exec Marissa Mayer and former Symantec CEO John Thompson.
One thing's for sure, having an in with a top Silicon Valley tech CEO sure couldn't hurt Gov. Christie's potential presidential aspirations. He earned national attention during the 2012 presidential run, when his name was floated as a potential VP pick for Republican candidate Mitt Romney. Since then, he hasn’t dismissed the idea of a presidential run. In December, he told an interviewer that he wasn’t ready for the top job in 2012, but if the opportunity presented itself in 2016, he’d be more prepared.
