Learn More About SVOS Artists through "The Art Scene in Silicon Valley" blog

Jan Looper Smith has been writing about art for 15 years. She has created a new blog called, The Silicon Valley Art Scene, where she has interviewed artists participating in SVOS 2013.

Her fresh approach adds a unique viewpoint to the local art you can see during SVOS. Jan has given SVOS permission to publish selected portions of her blog on the SVOS web site. Check out the Artist Profiles she has written. Click here to read her blog.

You can see more of Jan's stories about Silicon Valley Open Studios artists at this link.

Jan is a local art scholar who has written about the world's greatest art, specializing in works found in world famous art museums. She has captured this art in her personal blog along with her husband and photographer, Dan Smith.
