Greetings from Claire

Welcome to the Spring 2013 edition of the Kalia Law P.C. e-newsletter.

Did you know that only 14% of Fortune 500 executive officer positions are held by women? Did you also know that companies with boards of directors that have at least three women showed greater profitability?

In this edition, we'll be discussing an issue I feel very strongly about: Women holding leadership positions in the workplace. I'll take a look at Facebook COO Cheryl Sandberg's book Lean In, and also discuss a great whitepaper from British tech recruitment group Harvey Nash, about women holding CIO positions at tech companies.

  • Lean In: Facebook COO's Book About Women in the Workplace
  • Women in Tech: Struggles and Successes

For more on these topics and many others, as well as upcoming events and speaking engagements, check out Kalia Law P.C.'s blog and if you haven't already, please 'Like' us on Facebook

Wishing you a pleasant and productive spring season,
Claire
