beautiful SF property still 3rd most expensive after 2.5 million price cut

Pac Heights Mansion Remains #3 Most Expensive Home in SF Even After $2.505M Pricechop

Was: $19,500,000
Now: $16,995,000
You save: $2,505,000Back in mid-2012, 2950 Vallejo Street landed on the market asking $19.5M. The home has sat on the market since with no reported action, so it comes as no surprise that it has finally taken a bit off the top of its price. Tom Laursen with Redfin toured the Neo-Tuscan 8-bed, 5.75-bath property six months ago and said that it's a "classic home" that "feels as though it's from a bygone era of sumptuous splendor. Museum-quality rooms throughout. Enormous room for expansion below main portion of home." The very big abode also played host to the 2010 San Francisco Decorator Showcase. While a $2.505M price deduction is quite a bit of cash, 2950 Vallejo is still the third most expensive home for sale in San Francisco.
