Why, when a person shows us or even tells us in their own words who they are,
do we choose not to believe them? Don’t you know you better than anyone
else?*If a person lies to you repeatedly, they are showing you who they are.
*If a person always has a reason they cannot see you, they are telling you who they are and what you mean to them.
*When someone is repeatedly late to meet you, they are showing you who they are.
*When someone says mean or hurtful things to your face but smiles while doing it, they are showing you who they are.
*If someone says, “oh, that’s just who I am”, they are telling you the truth!
Believe it when a person shows you who they are. Stop with the excuses and stories and justifications for bad behavior. It’s them, not YOU!
