April 2013
Dear Alan,

From the Desk of Ted Ray
"Success in life is founded upon attention to the small things rather than to the large things; to the every day things nearest to us rather than to  the things that are remote and uncommon."
Booker T. Washington

When it comes to health, I think this quote applies. It's not South Beach Diet and it's not running 10 miles per day that unlocks the key to perfect health. What does work is paying attention to the little things, especially when it comes to diet.

At the end of the month, I am presenting you with an excellent opportunity to take a step towards your ideal health. I highly encourage you to join me on the 21-Day Purification Program on April 29th.

Yours in Health,

Ted

Get This!
There's no shortage of products on the market for allergies. So knowing what to choose can be confusing. One of my favorite products is quercetin. It's a plant compound known as a bioflavanoid, but what matters is that it works.

Quercetin works to stabilize the cell membrane of histamine cells, preventing them from breaking open so easily. When histamine cells break open, they release their contents and trigger the common allergy symptoms of sneezing, itchy eyes, and a runny nose.

The trick is getting a form of quercetin that you can absorb. IsoQuercetin- a special form of quercetin from Integrative Therapeutics- is 5x more absobable.

I carry this product in my office and am offering 10% off during the month of April. Come on down!

Mint for a Better Mood
Mint is an herb that has been used for centuries to treat a variety of conditions. In Chinese Medicine it is used to topically to treat rashes and plays a large role in treating cold and flu- especially where sinus congestion is involved.

In addition, mint is a great mood tamer. Because mint smoothes the liver qi (chee), it can make a person feel calmer and less tense.

I recommend mint tea from Mighty Leaf Teas, but any high-quality mint tea will do the trick! Enjoy.

Below is quick look at how Chinese Medicine view this herb:
  • Benefits Organs: Liver, Lung
  • Properties: Spicy, aromatic, cooling
  • Temperature: Cool
