For years homeowners in neighborhoods have formed neighborhood watch groups, also called crime watch or neighborhood watch. Many communities have been left out of these programs but fear not there is another solution. Keeping your neighborhood safe and up to date on local happening, like crimes, lost pets, baby sitters and local businesses can be found on a great website called Nextdoor.com.

Nextdoor.com is a password protected website that can not be accessed by search engines and each member must validate their home address to be accepted, only local resident in the neighborhood program are accepted and your information is never shared with Third Parties.

Posting community events, street parties, school events, maps and more are just a few of the groups you can organize and help others to join on your street and neighborhood. Over 25,000 participants are using the apps and website and what a great way to share car break-ins, burglaries and with so many homeowners using video surveillance you might just find who robbed you or your neighbor by using Nextdoor.com.
