Oct. 9, 8pm at The Blank Club Dave Baisa isn't just the lead singer for San Jose punk-mod trio the Odd Numbers, he's also a show promoter-or at least an acoustic show promoter. Oct. 9, 6:30pm at Club Fox In the mid-'90s, German-born guitarist Volker Strifler got his dream gig of playing with acclaimed blues guitarist Robben Ford in the Ford Blues Band. Oct. 12, 8pm at Johnny V's The Toughskins were active briefly in the LA Oi! punk scene back in the mid-'90s, but now they have been reconstructed. The one remaining original member, Danny Oi!, wanted to give the old-school fans a proper live show, so he gathered up some new members and began to write and perform again in 2010.
