It has been a quiet morning. Weekly Jobless Claims rose slightly to 308K, which was very close to the consensus. The Factory Orders report scheduled for today will be delayed due to the government shutdown.

The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) said its services index fell to 54.4 in September from 58.6 in August which was the highest since December, 2005. A reading above 50 indicates expansion
