Oryx backs home decor startup Serena & Lily with $10M

The Sausalito startup led by Serena Dugan and Lily Kanter is in what is known as the "aspirational lifestyle" market, offering exclusive textiles, furniture and other home décor products.
It plans to use the money to expand their business.
Palo Alto-based Oryx specializes debt or private equity transactions with total commitments as high as $50 million. It is a subsidiary of Orix USA, a Dallas-based financial conglomerate.
