— Hacker Fair: Hacker Dojo has a new space and it is celebrating with the return of its version of a job fair, which looks more like a science fair. The job candidates have the booths and the employers are the ones walking around looking for opportunities. Followed by a barbecue and DJ party. 1-8 p.m. at 599 Fairchild Drive, Mountain View. Monday, March 4
— Launch Festival: Day 1 of Jason Calacanis' latest incarnation of his annual demo conference features 23 companies launching, three VC panels and a fireside chat with Chamath Palihapitiya, the former Facebook exec who is now managing partner at The Social+Capital Partnership, which brings together philanthropists, capitalists and technologists to investing in disruptive companies in healthcare, education and financial services. 7:30 a.m. until into the evening at the San Francisco Design Center Concourse, 635 8th Street, San Francisco. Tuesday, March 5
— Launch Festival: Day 2 features 21 more startups launching, an accelerator panel and a fireside chat with Twitter co-founder Evan Williams. Same location, from 7:30 a.m. until dinnertime. Event site.
