Fortinet buys Coyote Point, gets into app delivery business

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Sunnyvale-based Fortinet, however, pointed to a report from Gartner that said application delivery spending is now at more than $1.5 billion and is growing by 15 percent a year.
Coyote Point, led by CEO Bill Kish, is a privately held company based in Millerton, N.Y. Fortinet said it doesn't plan any immediate changes to the company's products, channel programs or customer support.
