You can sue Creditors that make mistakes on your credit reports!
When a creditor reports negative information to the three major bureaus and hasn’t notified you—you can sue them. (This occurs very frequently by the way!) For up to $1,000 per incident under the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act)! Unfortunately very few people realize this.

Most people know that the debt is in fact theirs, and although it may be….it’s just like walking into a court of law, the “burden of proof” falls on the creditors and the CRA’s. (Equifax, Experian & TransUnion).

If you haven’t been notified, you can do one of two things:
1.     Call the creditor and let them know they are in violation of the FCRA to get them to remove the item from All Three Bureaus or you will pursue legal action!
2.     Contact a credit attorney or a company such as New West Credit and let us pursue the case. Under this law you deserve to have the item removed or be compensated for their inaccuracies!

                 Know your credit rights!
