Our nine Silicon Valley restaurants kept their coveted Michelin stars this year.
Michelin Guide, which ranks top restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area, rates each as one star (very good), two stars (excellent) and three stars (exceptional).
Silicon Valley didn’t earn any three star spots, but two made double gold:
At one star were:
  • Alexander's Steakhouse, Cupertino
  • All Spice in San Mateo
  • Chez TJ, Mountain View
  • Madera, Menlo Park
  • Plumed Horse, Saratoga
  • The Village Pub, Woodside
  • Wakuriya, San Mateo
The only three stars this year went to — no surprise — Chef Thomas Keller's French Laundry and Chef Christopher Kostow's Restaurant at Meadowood, both in Napa.
